Summary:
Works closely with QA test engineer to support engine production and testing in order to achieve company goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Identify root cause failures at End of Line Test (EOLT). Provide direction to rework personnel.
2. Provide EOLT support for Pilot Builds.
3. Develop and implement Zero Down Time plan for EOLT.
4. Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance Plan for EOLT.
5. Work with procurement to develop spare parts inventory with automated reorder.
6. Analyze data, report trends and root causes to Quality, Manufacturing and Design Engineers.
7. Responsible for implementing required testing upgrades and productivity improvements for EOLT.
8. Responsible for managing EOLT purchasing card account, adhere to monthly budget.
9. Provide AutoCAD support for EOLT and QA Dyno.
10. Participate in the PCI process.
11. Work in safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.
12. Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
1. High School degree of equivalent.
2. 2 or 4-year engine, automotive, or electrical degree candidates considered.
3. 3-5 year manufacturing experience preferred.
4. Engine dynamometer and trouble shooting experience
5. Electrical circuit trouble shooting skills
6. PC data acquisition trouble-shooting and programming skills
7. Technical writing skills
8. Welding and fabrication skills
